River Runner - now Global

Welcome back to another year of OCR Geography blogging.

I blogged this tool when it was first released, and confined to the USA, but it has now gone global and seems to work really well, although you will need to check the accuracy for your own particular contexts as rivers don't always do exactly what one would expect from looking at a map.

An excellent addition to any units on rivers and hydrology.

Last May, I put out the first version of a river flow tool, which traced the path of a raindrop downstream. At the time, the biggest limitation was that it was constrained to the US. Happy to share that we've now got a global version of the tool working:https://t.co/SsOWJViE7v
